Ok, i have tried to read every post here for the last 6 hours.
I have a softmodded Wii - homebrew channel with neogamma.
Everything has worked fine for months but the other day a message popped up that said update. My son choose yes for the update. Now when you turn the wii on, nothing happens. The place where you insert the game, flashed blue like always, the power light turns green but nothing happens. The tv screen stays black.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I even brought the wii to a friends house and hooked it up just to make sure it was not the wire connections and the same thing happens. I can eject the game, but no screen or anything. I am just up sh*t's creek without a paddle or can this be fixed?
Do you have BootMii/IOS or BootMii/boot2?
If you have bootmii as boot2, just hold reset as you power on the wii and bootmii will start. Once in there, just select a different ios to boot into then use your favorite ios installer to install the correct ios and updates from HBC. I'll try to get more into specifics, but i'm typing this on my phone, give me a little bit.

Your getting Priiloader and Bootmii mixed up. What your describing to him is priiloader not Bootmii.

If you installed Bootmii as an IOS your SOL with Bootmii. If you installed it to Boot2 then you need to place the Bootmii folder onto your SD card in order for it to load. If you don't have the Bootmii folder that is written to the SD card then do a Google search for it and place it at the root of the SD card.
