Softmodded Wii issue playing games

Hi,

I have a problem with my wii. I softmodded it a few days ago with the latest backup launcher. I installed it all to my wii without any problems. All the older games are working perfect (Call Of Duty WAW, Wii Sport, Resident Evil 4). But I have just downloaded and burnt some recent games (Call Of Duty Modern Warfare, Sega superstar racing, Red Steel 2) and they won't load I get a blue screen with a error saying take the disc out and power down the console. Call of duty MW dose not give me any error just a black screen.

Is there anything special I have to do to play these games? At the moment all am doing is downloading the games. Then extracting the files and burning them to a dvd-r disc with imgburn at write speed 4. Am not really up to date in the hacking/modding scene. I downloaded the homebrew and backup launcher from a link on this website. I think it was called Wii softmodding for dummies. Do I have to patch these latest games or something. Also if it is any help my wii firmware is 3.4E I think.

Please let me know and am sorry for any spelling mistakes thanks.
