solderless mod chip questions and concerns

Morining,


I'm in the process of deciding to buy a solderless mod chip and before I jump on that boat I need some advise.

1. Which chip is the best to purchase?
2. Will I still be able access the Wii network to buy virtual console games?
3. Will I need to constantly update or upgrade the chip?

I would really appreciate it if I can get some feed back on this.

I've got a drive key, works great. It just plugs into your drive with a ribbon cable.
Yes you will still be able to access wii network.
I've never updated my chip and it still works great, had it about a year now.
