Some advice on softmoding

Hi, I already have a modded Wii with a sunkey chip. I have received a soft modding guide and want to softmod it as the 'hardmod' doe snot alow me to play all games.

It is a mod done via a SD card in the guide. I just wanted to know if you could actually have a Wii 'hardmoded' and 'softmoded' at the same time?.

I also wanted to know what the chances are of me 'bricking' or causing any damage to my wii by me softmoding it as the kids would be most upset with me if I did that :(

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks all.

yes you can have both hardmod and softmod.

As for bricking. Any time you mess with the Wii when doing a softmod or hardmod there is a chance of bricking.

As long as the guide your using is accurate and you follow all the steps as they are laid out in the guide then the risk is very small.
