i have a usa wii v4.1u using a flatmii modchip running the game by usb and have tried 4 different copies of the usa version of the game it comes up on the disk channel but i get a black screen every time i try to play the game. when i turn on the regionfrii region patcher i get the message "this file doesn't look normal, possible reason, not a wii iso file?" i tried to play it before using brick blocker and after using it and it's the same thing. i've got nearly 100 other games and they all work perfectly fine. i have no softmods installed.
anyone else have this problem?

I am having the exact same issue. I am running the game via an external hd and the game crashes (black screen) after I collect the first grand star at the end of World 1. I have tried it twice thinking it was just a random crash but the same thing happened. I am using the WiiFlow loader and have yet to try another loader which I might try in a bit. Any fix to this yet?

i said screw it and updated the wii to v4.2 and now it works. now i'm going to have to go through all the games and find out which ones are pal and get rid of them.
