Hi all,

I'm trying to play some backup game, on a hard modded Wii with wiikey; and i'm getting this error

"The disc could not be read. Refer to Wii operation Manual for details"

Actually when i'm in the wii menu, the game picture shows on the 1st icon/box, and when I choose it, loads the warning screen (to attach the wii remote to your wrist and have ample space etc etc) but then a black screen with this warning shows up.

I encountered this error screen on various backups, and it's not the case of Region as in this case both the game and console are PAL region.

I also tried changing the wiikey setting, including the override region (tried both on and off) and still did not work.

Any ideas what is wrong?
I dont think its the backup as its not the only game that behaves like that, and I also tried burning it at 4x, the slowest possible with my current burner.

Check that you have the ios's needed to run the game.
