I'm in process of creating my own custom GH3 game using "The Ghost". After completing will i need to sign the disk using a Trucha signer? Will I need to patch the Wii in some way to enable Trucha Disks? I have yet to run such a game on my system but have paid attention in the process of Soft Modding the Wii to keep this option alive.

if you have really paid attention to the mod scene you know that trucha signing is available in the newer softmods. If you are totally scared just buy a mod chip, seriously.

I follow guides and search forum for answers to my questions. I remember reading bits about the trucha bug but did not see or remeber a seeing way to install it or apply it to an IOS in any way. So I ask if the bug was an original exploit Nintendo never intended to be included. I have seen since they tried to remove it.

Now That I read into your coded message I'm guessing that when I softmodded my Wii it was included there somewhere. The scene is changing so fast it is hard to keep track of the what and when. Now that I have a system That works for me I'm leaving well enough alone till the next game I buy doesn't work. Then It will be a search for what I have to do to get it to work.

I have never looked into the mod chip Idea. Seem that everything I want the Wii to do does it well with the Soft mod. My Biggest goal was to use a USB Loader. I have not followed the chip scene. Do they allow this as well?

So I gave it a go. All is well. My family should have lots of fun with our custom GH3 game.

nintendo did try to remove it and then the softmod hackers reenabled it in the newer ios. So most wiis are re trucha signed. Your game would work on usb loaders as well.
