Toy story mania wants to update

I soft modded my wii about 2 weeks ago and at the time I updated to the latest wii software before I modded. I just put a Toy story mania in that I rented and it wants to do a system update. How is that possible considering the game is not new? Is this a system update or some update for the game?

It is most likely an update that contains the IOS you need to run the game. Since Toy Story Mania is only a 3.4 update, it should be safe to update, or you could just install IOS53-64-v4113 WAD file using WAD Manager.
