i have a western digital 250gd hdd and there is no option to format to fat 32 only ntfs and exfat what do i need to do thanks

If your using this for the Wii then you need to format the partion as wbfs, google wbfs manager and install format the drive within the application and your away, just remember not to be so sharp on the keys as each time you connect the drive up to your unit it will request to format as the partion is unknown.

I used fat32format to format to FAT32. Use Google to find it..

run diskmgmt.msc, and you can format it from there. did it earlier to my 320gig scorpio black with windows 7 x64 with no problems.
