Trouble with installing CFG USB Loader

So i'm following CFG USB Loader instructions and i'm not able to install the loader using WAD Manager. I use this tutorial. http://my.afterdawn.com/larrylje_redwings/blog_entry.cfm/4430. I follow the links to to install Homebrew Channel and IOS 222, 223 and 249. I follow the instructions and select IOS 249 to install and i receive error ret -1029. I'm on version 4.1 and everything installed correctly except USB Loader. I just can't load the USB loader. Any tips?

Larry will probably come by to help but in the meantime I would suggest either re-downloading the wad manager or try downloading a diff one.

Hi i'm also having a problem with usb loader and also have been using the same guide. I load up CFG usbloader channel and all it lets me do is mount from usb device or sd card. i chose usb device and it takes 30 sec. then it tells me error to make sure its pluged in the 0 usb port, but ive tryed it in both ports with same problem. i changed my hard drive to fat32. my hard drive is a maxtor one touch II 100gb. any help would be great.

Did you follow the softmod guide first? That needs to be done first before performing the CFG guide (ret -1029 usually means you don't have IOS249 installed).

Did you follow the softmod guide first? That needs to be done first before performing the CFG guide (ret -1029 usually means you don't have IOS249 installed).

I got it fix. I updated to 4.2 and follow your guide to softmod 4.2. I'm able to run CFG USB Loader now without any issues. Thanks for the reply
