Trouble with USBCFG Loader?

Console: LU38, NTSC-U, 4.2u System Menu.

Followed larry's 4.2 softmod guide.

Followed larry's USBCFG guide.

The issue: I run USBCFG from Channel, screen goes to black, and returns to Channel menu.

Probable causes: After doing the Softmod, I ran my original New SMB from disc channel. This asked for an update. I preformed the update. I was already on 4.2u prior to update. This "appeared" to do nothing to my homebrew. I was able to load my ROMS from USB key drive.

Other Probable causes: Incompatible formatting of drive? I have a 1TB drive, according to the compatability list, this drive should work. However I may have not formatted the drive properly.

I used Partition Wizard to make 4 partitions of Wii1-4. Then another partition called ROMS. Those 5 partitions are formatted in FAT32, and are formatted at 32GB each. I then formatted the remainder 750~GB in NTFS for other uses.

However, I am not sure if I did the proper format of these drives. For example, Logical vs primary? Boot flag, etc...

Can anyone give me some assistance please?

Got it to work.

Made one 300GB FAT32 partition. Marked it ACTIVE and it works. Plugged it in to the lower port when facing "Standard" orientation.
