did it tell you that you need the fakesigned bug in IOS36?
Try running IOS downggrader. It takes forever, but when i ran it actually by mistake the other day on my 4.0u it did fix that particular error for me. I was trying to install preloader .029 and it also timed out because of the fakesign bug being fixed in my IOS36 file.
