Trying to back up wfbs hard disk

Hi -

I am trying to backup my wfbs hard disk 320gig to a 640gig.

I am using WFBS manager 2.5 - the new drive is formatted wfbs.

Initially I thought I would just do a clone - which i left alone for 5 hours to find it looked as if it had finished all 170 games - only to find an error for every game at the end and nothing copied.

So I then tried to add the games individually and it gets to the end of each on then comes up with an error, something about not being able to find file on drive.

I have since tried another wfbs formatted drive - and this too gave the same error
so it must be somethign to do with my original drive that holds the games.

I really want to back this up as it has taken months to get to this stage - anybody got any ieas?

Try using Wii backup manager, r4 or the beta r5.

Reformat the drive with this program to WBFS then copy over the games.

would it be anything to do wth the fact i am using 64 bit windows 7?

as tried to download later versions of wfbs manager only for it to say this is a 32 bit version and wont work?

May be - also Windows 7!

I use XP pro and it works like a dream.

There are many programs that can do this so try a few of them (wii backup manager is my favourite)

WBFS manager 3.0 x64 on win7 x64. haven't done drive to drive, but individually, it works. i transferred my MHTri to my friend's drive so he wouldn't have to install it himself at home.

A lot of program problems in 7 can be remedied by running the program as administrator, hope that helps you

Upgrade your WBFS Manager. I cloned a 1TB drive ising WBFS Manager 3.01 with no problem. (However, it took a LONG time)

steveo__, next time do a bump(nudge) after 24hrs not just over 3hrs or a mod might bump you with a temp ban.
