Hi guys, i have a wii version 4.0 and using wiiflow to play games via USB HDD. However i'm unable to play monster hunter tri english version. I downloaded two of them but both couldn't work. The game is able to load smoothly in untill the part whereby i click on 'start game play'. The screen will go black and a continuous beep sound will be heard and it continues untill i off my wii. Any idea how i can play this game?

It needs specific cios installed - the game should be run on cios223 (37 merged 38) otherwise it will not work.

Working with GX loader starting the game on 223!

Nevermind, deleting this post because I found a ios222/223 guide that seems reliable (http://gwht.wikidot.com/hermes-ios222-223).

OK, so now I'm back here.

I was told the problem was with IOS 249 and that I should install 222/223, so I did, following the above guide.

That didn't work so I installed 249 rev 19 (with this guide: http://gwht.wikidot.com/ios249) then installed 222/223 again. Still didn't work.

As a last try I installed Neogamma R9 beta 8 and still no ball...

So I'm stumped. Am I doing something wrong? Are these the right guides? I see people saying that they set USB Loader GX to use 222, but I see no similar option in Neogamma, it just seems to use the IOS it wants. Or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for the help!

i got my copy working with DarkCorp 1.0 LITE!

just reinstal a Virgin copy from the prompt and wait for it to do its stuff...

once completed....reboot your Wii and fire up MH3 and you should be good to go!

i take no responsibility in this....like i said...it worked for me and i was running a softmodded 4.0U NTSC wii (i ran a virgin install to fix anything else that i had previously screwed up on...)

try it out and let us know!

also....this worked for me using a burnt copy on a DVDR...im not sure if your running it through USB or DVD....

worst case...burn it on a DVD...

HELP! LOL!

drop GX and switch to configurable usb loader, and try again.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Are you remembering to set GX to use Ios 222? You must manually set the configuration. If that doesn't work set it to use the other Hermes Ios (223, 224 etc)

if you can't force it to use 222 then installing it is pointless. I reccomend using Neogamma then, search for a post by me called something like "Monster Hunter tri tutorial", it'll show what you ned for Neogamma to work
