Hi Guys, I just started getting into homebrew on the wii and I ran into a few areas where I can't find answers to my questions. I've been reading a ton the last couple weeks and have done many google searches but still can't get answers to these. I have HBC, bootmii boot2, and DVDX already on my wii. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

1) I'm running 3.4u, is there any real reason to upgrade to a higher system menu?

2) Can I stay on 3.4 and install IOS60 on my wii using DOP-IOS MOD without having to use sytem menu 4.1 or will I have to install the system menu as well? I'm thinking IOS60 and the new sytem menu aren't combined, but correct me if i'm wrong.

3) Do IOS's need to be installed in order? Can I put IOS60 on my wii without having IOS53, 55 etc....? Using sigcheck I'm up to IOS51

4) Plan on buying NSMB and I'm 95% sure I can use the new Gecko OS to put the higher IOS on my system using the game disc, whichever new IOS it needs, but I wanted to double check if that's possible since I'm on 3.4 and also wanted to be sure I didn't need previous IOS's before I add the new one (related to question 3)

Just as an update I installed ios249 using larry's guide and everything worked great. Slight hiccup with HBC being upside down but I fixed that. Should I go and install all the IOS's like the guide says? I'm still unclear on my initial questions listed above though so would appreciate the help there. Also just curious what everyone reccomends for a backup loader. My plan is to run my backups off DVD. Thanks again
