k i am very confused i can play punch out first of all so does that mean i am at 4.0 but can't get guitar hero 5, wii sports resort to work need some help is it safe to update over the network and what are my other options i have read the forums and searched read many different things just don't want to kill my wii i have a softmodded wii and it says 2.2 but as i said i can play punch out and when i softmodded it though it was 3.4 because i had to update it to softmod it so any help would be greatful thank you

Follow the softmod guide in my sig.

if you don;t have the latest HBC and Bootmii installed I would follow that section.

You can skip the Downgrade IOS15/Patch IOS36/Restore IOS15 part since you already have it softmoded.

I would then recommend doing the optional section of...

DOP-IOS
Hermies 222/223 for Guitar Hero
4.1 SYSTEM MENU if you want to update to 4.1 firmware

Now for Wii Sports you need to use an Alt-Dol to load it. Do a Google search on this. there is allot of info out there on it.
