are you getting this error ???
HackMii installer v0.6
This installer can NOT continue!
There is no known vulnerable IOS installed on this Wii.
Please note that we will not use a fakesigned IOS due to security reasons.
Look for updated version at:
[bootmii.org]
If this is already the latest version...well,suck it.
Great news here the Fix
Download BannerBomb V2 and Dop-IOS Mod v6.
Put on the SD CARD.
Run Dop-ios (through Banner Bomb v2).
Choose and load IOS 250.
then go on IOS36
press the ( - ) on the wii remote
once it finish instaling, the old v1042
Put in the Sd Card and launch boot.elf from the hackmii.
and should work perfectly!!
Okay, just follow my instructions:
Download Dop-IOS MOD, and once you download it, extract it. Take the boot.dol file, and drag it to the root of your SD card. If there already is a boot.dol/boot.elf on the root of your SD card, remove it.
Download Bannerbomb v2, and put the private folder on the root of your SD card. If you already have a private on the root of the SD card, temporarily rename it to "privateold", or something.
Launch Bannerbomb on your wii by going to the SD card menu, and Dop-IOS MOD should load. .

You want to install the latest without patching it.
If those that have LU64+ etc. etc. systems downgrade IOS36 they could brick their system.
You can however still use DOP-IOS to install the latest IOS36 (making sure you DO NOT SIG HASH PATCH IT). Then Bootmii and the rest should be able to install.

Read the serial #.
In anycase just use DOP-IOS to install the latest revision of IOS36 without patching it and you do not have to worry.

XtraTripC,
I'm not sure why nothing works for you. I personally have tried this myself: Launched DOP-IOS MOD V.6 via Bannerbomb hack. Then, I installed IOS36-64-V1042. Alternatively, you can also used IOS30-64-V1040. This will implant the bug back in your system, which will allow you to run the Hackmii installer with no problems. I am on firmware 4.1U; non-LU64+. Remember, unlike FW 4.1 and below, Bannerbomb now loads directly from the SD card menu and not through Data Management.

Frankly, the risks of bricking your system are far greater than soft-modding it. Downgrade is bad news most especially in 4.2. What all do you have installed currently?

I remember you said that you were able to run Dop-IOS before, but crashed. Tell me exactly at what point it hangs/crashes.

What you need is V1042. I'm away from my Wii right now. But I think you need to press B and then - on the Wiimote. Try that.

Create a WAD folder in the root of your card. Then download the file from the link below and place it in that folder. Run DOP-IOS once more and go through the same motions as before...
