USB Loader game locking up SMG2

I have a 4.2U with Usb Config Loader.
Everytime I either want to shut down the system or go back to the channel page. it locks up on black screen. This has only happened for SMG2
I have to choose IOS Reload to NO in order for it to load and I use cios-224-nload
Any Suggestions?

I am on 4.2 and use USB Loader GX and I play it with no problems and can turn off my wii with no hassles.

Updating to 4.3 can stuff up your softmodding so just stay at 4.2 (if you are there or upgrade to 4.2)

Is this a PAL version of the game? I know on a few PAL games I have sometimes they do the same thing to me.

Seeing as how this became an online Battle Royal b/t Juniors and Seniors (HS), I I'll stick to you Larry, you seem to understand where I am coming from. (I have followed your guides years ago)
SMG2 is a PAL, but Donkey Kong Returns seems to be having the same issue, but it's NTSC.
I was thinking could this be due to the ISO's being Scrubbed just to save space perhaps? I don't care about how much space they take as long as it works, I got plenty.(500G) But some Imports have no issues at all is where I am lost at (Example Sin and Punishment is JAP, but works 100% on Forced NTSC and IOS 223-nload.

Why would I need to update my Firmware!?
All that does is update Wii Channels in my opinion, and why would I care to need that if I have Homebrew Browser and Internet Channels working as good as they are?

You know how many (explative) videos there are on 4.3 Updating?!
I have had no issues and there is no way that updating firmware would fix ONE (explative) game whereas later ones have had no issues.

have you tried a NTSC version? also, what setup are you using for configurable; IOS249 or IOS222?

if you haven't, update your IOS249 to cIOSX_rev20 with base 57. it could be a conflicting IOS; MHTri is picky on which IOS is used, so SMG2 may be the same.
also make sure you're not missing any system IOSes.

good to hear. i'd say the other games would be fixed also. but ones requiring instruments or the other usb port, i honestly wouldn't know since i don't have any games requiring it.
