usb loader gx asks for disc after backing up to usb

i installed and updated usb loader gx and when i try to test the backup to my 16gb PNY device, usb l. asks for the disk. i formatted the usb stick with wbfs manager 3.0. any thoughts on what i may be doing wrong?

It may not be a compatible device.

But then again you see USB loader GX threads popping up all the time with users having problems.

Can I suggest trying Configurable USB Loader. It uses a FAT32 partition rather then WBFS. You may have better luck. The guide is in my sig.
