usb loader gx hard drive should i partition

basically redoing hard drive as had a problem, got a 2gb fat32 partition that boots usb loader and back ground music and skins etc, it can handle 3 other partitions is it worth dividing the rest of the 500gb hard drive into 3 equal WBFS partitions or just one?

WBFS can have up to 500 files, but GX loader has a max of 300 (I believe)

However on a 500GB hard drive you should still only just get to 300, so little point in partitioning

ok found my problem, i was booting from hard drive and had a sd card in with backed up game saves, took card out and it boots from hard drive every time sd card was blocking usb loader GX forwarder channel with car out it does not.
