Honestly, I have no clue what to do about this since most topics address -1 or -1022.

Help? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Seriously? No one knows what this means?

Is there any way I could contact the creators of Wad Manager?

What version Wad Manager are you using 1.5 is the newest . Try downloading that and see if it works . http://www.mediafire.com/?i2mvjhxmzhl

If that doesnt work a wiihacks thread say to update your cios249 . I dont know what cios version you are on but the cios version is rev 19 is the most current . http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OP5WJAEL

Edit:

Wad Manager v1.7 is the most up to date version

Oh, more noob questions!

Sorry, I really am a beginner at this stuff.

The download link you sent me for 1.7 only contains a "wad-manager_v1.7.dol" sort of file.

(and a similar one for cios, no premade folder or anything)

How do I utilize it? Do I rename it? Put it in some sort of folder under apps? I'm clueless...

Just make a folder in your apps folder named WadManager and put the WAD-Manager_v1.7.dol inside it .

Do the same for cios249 installer . Make a folder named cios249Installer in your apps folder and put the cIOSX_rev19-Installer.dol inside it .

Run cios249Installer first from HomeBrewChannel . Then run Wad Manager using ios249 and try installing what ever wad file you previously trying .

All right, I added the folders under apps, but only my regular apps are still showing up?

As in, I still have Gecko and backup launcher etc, but wad manager and cios installer aren't showing up on my list in the homebrew channel.

Also, just to test it, I installed a different app that included both a meta.xml and an image file, and it worked fine.

Does this mean I need a meta and image file for these .dol's to work?

Also, I have a 4.2 wii and homebrew version 1.0.6 if that helps

Yeah, I did. It's not showing up, though. I don't need some sort of meta.xml?

Ok, that worked, but on both the cios installer screen and the wad manager screen, it tells me to press A to continue, I do, and then it asks me if i agree, I tried pressing A on both my wiimote, my gc controller, and even my classic controller, but no response

I dont know why it works for the first screen but not the disclaimer =/

Oh, and for some reason, the wii blue light comes on?

if you're using cIOSX_rev19, you need to use a different ios than ios249. if you have ios222/223 installed, use ios222; that's what i personally use for wads. if not, use your patched ios36.

and the controller disconnect is normal. usually after choosing the ios, it'll disconnect for a second, then reconnect automatically.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

All right, I tried 222, but yet again the disconnect never reconnected. I can't get past the disclaimer screen.

I have a 4.2 wii and homebrew version 1.0.6 if that means anything significant.

I originally had homebrew a long time ago with the zelda exploit, but my sister updated my wii ( don't we love em' =/ ), and a friend linked me to bannerbomb to get it back.

I doubt that has anything to do with it but just in case...

I can try recording a video showing me pressing the A button at the screen and getting furious if you want XD

Sounds like you have no patched ios and thats why wad manager and ciosxinstaller arent working . When your sister updated it wiped you mod aswell as patched ios . When you used bannerbomb it just installed HBC and did not re-mod . You will have to follow a 4.2 softmod guide .
