I currently have a 3.4U Wii with a modchip and I have been away from the scene for a while. I opened up Wad Manager 2.1 via System Menu to install some wads, but I could and i got this error:

"Opening "(NES)-~2.WAD...OK!
Installing WAD...
Instaling ticket...Error! (ret = -2011)"

Anyone knows what's wrong. I just feel like wiping my Wii and starting over by follow some tutorials. Anyone know how to do that? Can I just not install Wads anymore?

WadManager 2.1? The latest WadManager is 1.4

Which cIOS do you have?

And trying to wipe your system is more trouble than it's worth.

Oct. 23rd 3.3 and above firmware have blocked the instillation of WAD and cIOS files. However there are ways to fix this limitation so you can install them again.

Your best bet is to update to 4.1 firmware and follow this guide HERE.

The steps you should follow are...

HBC 1.0.3 Install:
Downgrade IOS35:
Install IOS60Patched.wad under that section (no need to install IOS36 or NeoGamma R6).
IOS DOWNGRADER:

There is no need to do the cIOS38_rev13a step since you can already launch Wii and GameCube backups with your Modchip. However if you want to use an application that needs the cIOS (like a USB Loader) then you will need to install it.

You do not need to follow Game Cube Support: since the Modchip already boots GameCube games.

After doing those steps you should be able to install WAD files perfectly fine.

I would also follow the advice given above and install Bootmii and Preloader .29 for protection.
