I was wondering if it is possible to convert a wbfs file into an iso file? My Wii is softmodded and I use Neogamma to run my games. I really don't want to redo my softmod and use a USB loader. Or, is there a way to run the wbfs games thru the Homebrew channel?

Well, I've dl'd WBFS Manager and cannot get it to work. I keep getting errors. I've formatted both drives(1 internal and 1 external) to FAT32, then I format to WBFS with the Manager software, but it doesn't seem to recognize either one. When I move the WBFS file into the external, it isn't showing up in either window on Manager. Any suggestions?

Are you plugged into the bottom port? If it formatted then just move a ISO on the drive and use wiiflow or cfg loader to boot them

Ok, so it appears I really don't know what I'm doing then. Is there a good "How To" that I can read? This is what I've been doing: On my PC, I have an external drive that I formatted to Fat32 then in WBFS Manager, I format it also. I have an internal drive that I did the same thing. I transfer the WBFS file onto my external drive and then I'm trying to convert it to an ISO. But when I try to locate the WBFS file in WBFS Manager, it doesn't show up in the window for my external drive though. Am I missing something? Or do I need to be doing all the above through my Wii and not my PC?

rage you arent taking advice from people are you? learn to read seriously. USE WII BACKUP MANAGER.

after this load your drive using wii back up manager. Load the wfbs file with it and convert to ISO. its that easy. wbfs manager does not convert to isos. You can only extract isos.

Ahhh, there is the problem. The first reply recommended Wii Backup Manager, but the 2nd reply recommended WBFS Manager- two different programs. Anyway, I dl'd Backup Manager and it appears everything has worked. Gonna burn to a disk and see how it came out. Thanks Genius for making me re-read the entire thread. :^)

WBFS Manager is the program you use to transfer the isos the the hard drive. Use that to format the drive and read the drive. It does both.
