I have a LU3818.... wii 3.4u currently with a wasabi dx updated to firmware 3.0 BETA which made quite a few problem titles I had run finally something about BCA fix on games like NSMB. well NSMB works now but after about 20 min it goes to the black disc read error screen.
1. any solutions?
2. even patched, a lot of PAL games won't play. it recognizes them in the disc channel or whatever, when the title pops up but goes black shortly thereafter? do i need newer firmware like 4.0?(games like wii fit plus, sports resort,and others.)
3. can i play backup N64 virtual console if I move to 4.0? I don't have homebrew or any other soft mod stuff done, i bought the chip because i thought i would not need any of this. Basically what is my best option to play everything with as little extra modding as possible? I would rather not have a paper weight, I am not an idiot but not a professional modder either.

oh, And I use Ashampoo burning studio 9 and verbatim dvd-r 4X burn speed. and the wasabi is attatched solderless, not zero 9 wire configuration. when I started having problems with some PAL I started making sure to stick to NTSC, now getting the blank black sreen after title on a lot of newer ones NTSC too?
