Hi All,

I have the US version of the Wii. I have tried to use the UK games but no luck! I even bought the FREELOADER US version but it don't work because the software I have on my Wii is the 4.2u.

I have the homebrew channel but no luck to downgrade the software so I can play the UK Games. I have read the forums but still cannot get the WAD Manager to load. I have virtually spent a couple of days on this & no luck.

Can anyone help please????

SoRry Mtae tried everthing got all the software appliactions & the homebrew channel but when I try to downgrade IOS15 it keeps stating error net int failed - 116. Error reading IOS into memory. My current IOS in the left hand corner is ios21 rev 514. My firmware is 4.2U - I've got all the relevant applications but just can't get past this hurdle????

Sorry Mate - I wouldn't know what they are??

I've got it download to iso15 but when I try & upload ISO36 it crashes again!

I got this off my brother a couple of years ago fron the USA when Wii first came out & it was hard to get! He says it is chipped! Stupidly I updated the firmware online! That's why it is 4.2u!

All you need to do to play Imports (PAL games) is to install the Homebrew Channel and use that to launch Gecko OS to play the PAL games.

HERE is a guide to follow to get HBC/Gecko OS on your 4.2 firmware system.

Hi Mate,

Got the Gecko os downloaded the Gecko 191 to load on the Wii but when I launch it it goes to 100% & then a black screen??? Tried the Gecko 1.9.3.1 version but that does not work at all. Mine is the 4.2u firmware! Got any clues???? ( I do appreciate all your help)
