I have made backups of all our games using an LG-GDR8162B and RawDump. Having young children, making backups has become necessary to preserve the playability of our investment.
I'm experiencing some weird issues when using the backup of "Boogie Superstar" and "Summer Sports 2 - Island Party"
Both games will load in the game channel, and when I click PLAY, two separate issues occur:
Boogie Superstar: Game loads normally, loads save data, start a game and when a song starts, there are no lyrics! The music (instrumental) plays but there is no vocals!
Summer Sports 2: Island Party - Game loads normally, displays the first warning screen about connecting the wrist strap and watching out for lamps/vases and other people. And HANGS. The wii remote does not lose sync with the wii, and pressing buttons does not advance. The DVD drive does not sound to be spinning/seeking.
Has anyone else experienced issues like this? I have tried a straight burn from the RawDump ISO, as well as using WDS (WizzleDizzleShizzle) to region/update-patch the iso.
2. Bad burn or bad iso. Check the quality of your media. Bad blanks in a spindle are not uncommon.
3. If multiple copies of the burn don't work and stop in the same place, the .iso may be bad. Rawdump has no error checking. I have encountered bad dumps with Rawdump.
