My house was recently struck by lightning. We lost most everything plugged into outlets. However, my Wii still powered up. I had no way to check to see if it still worked as all televisions in the house are fried. I took my Wii to a friends and much too my dismay, the Wii starts up, there is sound, I can eject and load disks, but am unable to receive any video. I have tried a new component cable and this did not work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would assume hardware failure.

Is it still under warranty?
