Hi.
I have bricked my wii by using mymenuify.
It appears to be a low level-failure brick/theme brick.
Is there a solution?
I read about these nand thingies and starfall recently.
I want to do it the cheapest way possible.
If I got the savemiifrii dongle would it work?
Required Info
Firmware 4.2E
Have HBC, Bootmii.
Don't have nand.bin.
Don't have gamecube controller and SaveMii but i might be gettin it.
Don't have bootmii as boot2

It appears that since you have a theme brick, you have a banner brick. This means your system files are corrupted. First of all, unless you have priiloader installed, you will have to buy a modchip configured to autoboot. I recommend Drivekey. The aim here is to run the speed demon data management method to install a hacked game save file & un-install the WAD theme you used. Can you remember what file it was you installed when you bricked?

I still have the file and it is called DarkWii_Version3_4.2.csm
i will buy it apart from I don't want to open my Wii.
Is this the only way?

If you had priiloader or bootmii as boot2 installed, it could be done without opening up the wii. What happens when you turn on the wii? Also, you will need to gamecube controller to enter recovery mode.
The Speed Demon Data Management Method is when you play so many game & install so many channels, the wii has to take you to data management to free up memory space, you will free up space, but also copy a hacked game save file, Indiana Pwns across. Then you will run AnyTitleDeleter or mymenuify to delete your theme file.

If you have trucha-signed your wii, you can run a custom disc to bypass all of this, did you install the trucha-bug AKA fakesign IOS?

I think I have truch bug signed/fakesign IOS 36.
In my condition which would be the cheapest way to fix it/quickest

If you have trucha patched IOS36, the quickest way would be get a modchip & run an autobooting Anytitledeleter disc to delete the theme. The modchip must be configured to autoboot before going in the wii. Ask the sellers to do it.

I've opened that and it says that it a raw CD image.
Do I need Cd's or DVD's?
Wasabi DX is a solder method
I was looking for non-solderable,

So long as the image is an iso image, it should burn. If not, you can get a homebrew channel disc also. Drivekey is the only autobooting/solderless modchip that I know of. The only alternative to a modchip is if you have installed:
-cIOSCORP
-Starfall
-Priiloader
-Bootmii as boot2
So, if you indeed have a trucha IOS, you can just boot the disc & delete the theme. The savemiifrii method is when you press all the directions down on a gamecube controller when booting the wii so it will enter recovery mode. This is quite easy, however some controllers (depending which you buy) will have to be opened & modified on the inside before they allow all directions to go down.
Let us know what course you want to take. Oh & please let me know if you do have any of those things I mentioned installed, they can make it easier.

i will look for the homebrew disk.
I have Imgburn but do I HAVE to use DVD-R's
I have CD-R's
I don't have any of those 4 things.
I have bootmii but it is bootmii.ini and 2 other files.
I think I might have it as boot2, but i THOUGHT it would come up on the folder.
I am guessing that I do for now.
Please just tell me about the DVD burn thingy.

Sorry.
Ok thanks, I will buy them today/sometime soon.
The computer I am on now, will not open its disk tray, but on another one, imgburn won't detect the disc.
Any solutions for that?
If not, i'll get my Dad.

Ok a computer, normal one with ubuntu/linux mint on it.
Imgburn won't detect a CD-R disc.

The AnytitleDeleter Disc needs a modchip or cIOSCORP to boot, it also needs IOS36 patched.

Nope, once Nintendo see you have modded your console, they will either refuse to fix it, or send you a whopping bill when you get it back. Either way is not good. I'd rather wait to fix my console rather than spend heaps to get it now. You may as well get a new wii.
