Wii Brick Blocker and WBFS

Do I need to use wii brick blocker before using WBFS? A couple games I forgot to use wii brick blocker and already used the WBFS manager on them. But for future reference, should I used brick blocker first?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I am using a 250GB USB hard drive hooked up to my Wii.

Can someone please tell me the answer to this? I am kind of in a hurry to get my friends wii hooked up, and I just need to know if I need to use brick blocker before WBFS on ISOs that I'm using on a usb hard drive, or does WBFS automatically take the updates out?

Brick blocker just removes the games update. It should only be necessary depending if the game has a higher firmware than what your wii currently has. Or you could just use priiloader and disable online & disc updates.
