Wii D2Chip updated to newest update cannot read disc

Hi bought some games overseas. I tried them and they wanted me to update the cd wii update. So I clicked no and took the disc out, went to setting's updated to the newest update to see if they game would work then. But now It wont read any of the games I bought from overseas its weird. I copied it to the pc patch it so it skips the update and still cant read. It sounds like the new update stop playing.
But my other backup games work fine.
any ideas?

The newest update is 4.3. If you updated via the settings menu, then your wii's current firmware is 4.3. This firmware stops modchips (Like your D2Chip) from playing out-of region games. Unless the backup is the same region as your console, it won't play. The only way to bypass this is to softmod the wii.

To check your wii's firmware, go into the settings menu & it will be displayed on the top-right hand corner of the screen.

There is nothing you can do to any disc that will bypass the wii's updated security measures. You should be okay to keep playing backups in your region, but if you want to play out of region games you will require softmods.
