Firstly, I know this topic has been covered, and the same title used before. However, I could not find the answers I was looking for after much foraging. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I have read in several places that a common solution is to bridge a fuse, however I cannot find which fuse anywhere. Some people linked images which have since expired.

Will this work? And will it work with a chip installed? Or could the chip have blown causing the problems?


As a second solution, would I be able to load games via USB without the need to install anything vis cd/dvd? I have no homebrew (or homebrew channel) on my Wii and haven't touched it inappropriately since I modded it 2 years ago. I only used it to play back-ups of my games.

maybe the chip knackered remove it and try, also the fuse blew if it did to protect the sytem, a nn fuse connection cannot, a multi-meter will let you do a continuaty test to prove if the fuse is broken or not
