Hi all, just received my wii drive key and am going to attempt to install myself. My wii already has software mod. Would it be best to update my wii before i put this in, and if so i've heard that v4.2 wont let play downloadeed games, is this true ? do I need to take the soft mod off or can i just install drive key anyway. thanks
If you were having issues getting games to play on your wii then there was either something was wrong with your softmod or you were running a firmware too old to support those games.
Update to 4.2, resoftmod with the most current files, and all your games should work properly. Then try to see if you can return that drivekey.

where do i find the most current files ?. Thanks for all your help, am checking if i can return drivekey now.
