hi all.. this is my 1st post, hehe..
i got a wii us version and using a modchip.
the fw is 4.0u
i got this 2 games that not working on my console...
- monster hunter 3 demo (JPN)
- resident evil dark chronicles (US)
it shows as "question mark" on the channel and "NO DVD" on gecko and neogamma...
i've tried alot of things like installing the ciosrev13,ciosrev14, ciosbugfix etc...
it feels like my wii is lacking some of ios or cios... anyone know what should i do???

If you have a modchip, why are you playing games regional games using softmod apps? I can understand for the japanese demo, but for RE:DC?

Use an app called Dop-IOS to upgrade and apply any trucha bugs on the correct IOS files. You could upgrade your firmware to 4.1U since its just a step up with no side effects.

Sorry cant help you there or with your japanese demo. I never tried playing out of region games or use those apps. It does sound like you burnt it wrong and the wii cannot read it. Try burning with Imgburn on 4x. If the disc channel cannot read it, then maybe your wii isn't modchipped. Which modchip are you using?
