I have a NTSC wii 3.3u with wii-clip mod chip installed. I got this wii from someone else with wii-clip already installed. They game a bunch of games that all work. I am having problems getting new games to work. (Ghostbusters, COD Modern Warfare, MY SIMs AGENT, etc...) I am patching ISO's using wiiupdatemanager but when I put in the game I only get to WII menu once I start the games I get a black screen and my WII is locked up until I reboot. I know their are millions of threads out their about Ghostbusters and this black screen problem but I am confused.
homebrew channel?
wad manager?
IOS38?
neogamma R6 ?

I get it that these are things you intall on the wii I have read most of the threads about installing them, but do i really need them. I just want to patch iso and play just like older games I already have. I have tried burning at 4x, I have tried NTSC and PAL, tried patch with different versions. Please accuse my ignorance I am new to this and have tried to read alot of threads but in the end I don't get it and I don't want to install crap on my wii I dont need.
