Hello,

The original level of my wii was at 2.2u but running MarioKart upgraded it to 3.1u.

Similarly, I'm in search of another wii program that will allow me to update my system in the range of 3.2u to 4.1u

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for the link. It is quite informative. Being new to the wii softmod scene - I thought it maybe something simple as inserting a game disc which offers to update the system but nonetheless, I will follow the recommended link.

In reading, there's reference to the following:

[ REQUISITES ]
150-250 free blocks.
Internet connection.

what does it mean 150-250 free blocks ? Is that a reference to the free space on the SD card, if so, what does that translates to in terms of MB of free space?

the space is on the wii's internal memory. if you have a fairly clean wii, space won't matter.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

In reading the link posted in the previous thread...my question has been answered in that....;-)

How can I tell how many memory blocks I have available?
You can view the total amount of free memory blocks by going into the "Data Management" area of the Wii Settings. Once inside "Data Management", select "Channels" to see the available space in that section listed as "Blocks Open."
