Once your wii is modded, you can install a USB loader. USB loaders are homebrew apps that run on the wii, not windows or mac programs. Wiiflow and USBLoaderGX are both fine USB loaders, though I prefer the Configurable USB loader. It has a few more features that the others dont support.

Once that's installed, you need to get games onto your hard drive. If you have the original disk you can just pop it into the wii while your USB loader is running and copy it to the drive. If you don't have the original disk then you use WBFS manager to copy iso files onto the hard drive.

WBFS manager is a windows program, but there is a mac version with the same functions available here http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=214002#entry2668479

You cant even drag complete iso files to a FAT32 formatted drive at all, much less have them run that way, because FAT32 won't support files over 4gb. Converting the files to .wbfs files will trim them down to the real size of the game (sometimes as low as 100-200mb) and split files larger than 4gb into multiple parts.

Once you've done that then yes, you can just drop them into their own folders in a folder named 'WBFS' in the root directory of the drive and it will run fine.

I've heard of wii unlocker ultra, which is a scam. Someone is just selling a bundle of free software with lousy instructions. Most people that buy it end up here or another forum trying to find someone who can tell them how to use it.

Not all games will shrink below 4 gigs when converted, so they'll automatically be split into separate parts. So if that happens then yes, you need both parts in the same place for it to work.

And I know it looks daunting but the guide is really very easy if you follow it step by step and dont skip any parts unless it specifically says they're optional. I really can't stress that enough. I dont know how many people I've had to help who claim to have 'no idea' why things aren't working, then after a few questions I find that they've only done half the guide because they 'didn't get the rest of it so just figured it wasn't important.'
