Hi everyone. I'm new here and the forums have been a great help to me.
I believe I can fix my problem but just need a point in the right direction. I know there's lots of info out there and if I have overlooked the answer to this Im sorry. So yes I could gear you up with all the nitty gritty details but i will just try and summarize cause i already feel like I'm dribbling.

My wii has been modded for several years with a genuine wiikey had it installed by a friend who is a pro. I believe it to be genuine because it came with the hologram sticker and it was only a month or so after the wii had first been hacked. I'm not exactly sure what version firmware the wii key has but have no doubts it's the original because I've not updated it at all.
I purchased my wii in Australia when they where first released
I haven't had any problems until I tried to run ashes cricket game my image is pal I have been using tdk disk no problem in the past
when i ran this game it updated. (which I now know is the cause of this problem)the wii lobby comes up you can see the the logo for the game in the disk channel but i get the #001 error.
I have tried to reburn the image but don't think this is the problem.
As for everything else, Originals work fine. Older backups no problems game cube games also run fine.
So i spend the last few days reading around finding all the answers to my problems.
So what I want to do is update to 1.9s and 1.9s config. I got hold of these burnt the image as per instructions on this site. I get the game cube logo on the wii channel but then errors when i try to run it. So the next step was to filechop or 1.3 config i think to change the region settings. But for the life of me I can't find this tool anywhere, and all the links on the wii key firmware sticky are dead.
So if someone could help me out to find the following 1.9b 1.3config 1.4config and filechop.exe from there i should be able to help myself, any other tips would be helpful too.
so hopefully that all makes sense My wii firmware is 3.4e im guessing thats what the game updated it too I have no idea what it was before that tho.
