my wii is bricked
it happened about 3 months ago when i tried to install darkcorp
the dummy that released it didnt provide the required xml file (i didnt know it at the time)
and i had to manually uninstall it
and the dummy self i am now uninstalled the system menu
i have a few choices i guess
1) send to nintendo
2)fix my self (but dont know how)
or c) send it to my local game store to be repaired
so how much will nintendo charge to fix a modded wii
how do i fix myself posiblly without savemiifrii or if i have to ill try with that
how much does gamestop type of store charge to fix those
thank you

Did you install priiloader?
Did you install bootmii?
What happens when you turn on the wii? What is displayed? Any text?
What is the current firmware & region of your wii.
Did you un-install the system menu IOS WAD or the system menu vXXX WAD? If it was the IOS, you won't be able to fix it yourself unless you have a programmable modchip like Infectus. However, if you un-installed the system menu vXXX WAD, you could probably fix it yourself.
If you can't remember, you could try the savemiifrii method with a gamecube controller (I assume you know how to perform it). If it doesn't work & you are positive you cannot get the controller any better, then it was probably the IOS. If it does work on the other hand, then it's probably not the IOS.
On a side note, Nintendo probably don't fix modded wiis at all, if they do, the price is quite high as well.

Nintendo will not fix any modded wiis. Instead they will just send you it back saying what you are doing is illegal. I have seen his first hand. They have a new machine also that reads all tweaks and softmods as well so they dont have to open up your wii at all. If you want nintendo to fix it they will charge you the cost of the wii itself thats what the representative told me first hand.
if you want to fix this yourself u need savemii or savefrii thats the only method now if you dont have a backup nand or have bootmii installed.
Local gamestores are a pain if you ask me. You are going to end up paying 80 dollars for it to be repaired, unless you send it to some guy whos going to charge less and hes going to just use savemii.

I agree, chances are you'll be paying them to do what you can do so much cheaper. But seriously, answer the questions I posted so we can help you out.

then you are pretty much screwed, use savemii to fix its your only hope. I had a friend who did a case swap at target and it worked LOL thats another method but you have to swap internal parts on both wiis.

Swapping insides is a pretty dumb idea. I would tend to think they have the serail on the Motherbard of the system and if they do not match he better hope they can't trace it back to him.

Once again, this brick probably can be fixed with software, but we need more info from the poster.

What happens when you turn it on?
Is it blank or does something come up?
If its a blank screen then you will more then likley need to use a programer like Infectus to restore a NAND backup to the NAND (If you didn't backup your NAND then your prety much screwed.
If you get some type of response when turning it on then you could probably recover with SaveMii.

If you un-installed the IOS & not the v449 WAD, you are very much screwed. Nothing you can do on your own will fix this problem, you will need a programmable modchip like Infectus to flash bootmii into the NAND, from where you can run a NAND Backup or Cboot2 WAD Manager. When the tools arrive at the game store in 2 weeks, ask them if they can do that.
Here is a guide:

You never mentioned if you had bootmii installed or not. Do you?
