I have a wii with a hdd and im running the usb loder gx. But a few games go to a black screen and i checked its default settings are cios 249 and im run cios 222. my question is can i install the cios 249 and will it effect my cios 222. or can they both be on the wii at the same time

Both cIOSes can co-exist. Customarily, you boot games using IOS249 first. If that fails you can switch to IOS222/223.
