i made a boo boo,
i went to downgrade me wii and didn't have it hooked up to the internet. when i did finaly had it connected to the internet i could not downgrade fron version 4.0.(because i tried to do this with no internet) i went to downgradeIOS35.dol and pressed A,
when loaded i select downgrade IOS35 (run first)
nothing happens except it says "failed to add title"
"maybe you already done this".
so i'm now at a stand still. is there anything i can do to fix this

i'm soft moding so it says i have to change my firmware lower
in order to have the soft mod to work

I'm a bit confused. Are you downgrading an IOS or your System Menu? Are you following a guide and at the part where you are running the Trucha Bug Restorer? What have you done so far?

yes i'm following the guide, but when i went to downgrade my firmware lower than 4.0 i didn't have the wii hooked up to the internet.so when i did have it hooked up to the internet it would'nt
let me downgrade because i already tried it before. so i'm just wondering is there anyway of resetting the wii back to factory
settings.so i can start from the begining again

It's pretty futile to downgrade as it would require more effort. I would advise you to run the official 4.2 Nintendo update; then you can resume the softmod process.
