everything has been working somewhat good with my sons wii but now for some reason after you press A to first enter the home screen, the remote stops working. the wii doesn't freeze but it want recognize the remote. i have tried using different remotes but its still a no go. also, sometimes in the wii media i get a stack dump and some error codes. if someone has any suggestions, my sons and i would be glad. we are ready to get back to the games. thanks

i suppose that could be it,but it works until you get to home screen then the four lights on the remote begin to flash. i would like to just get it back to factory settings and take off the homebrew but giving up all the games would suck.

Hi Can anybody help me, I have two problems with my wii....
1. HomeBrew channel upside down tried updating wad file and bricked the wii - have since unbricked it with savemii and back to square one... its really annoying!!
2. NeoGamma R7 - works ok but I get a message saying update my CIOS from version 9 to version 14 - is this easy as going on my last attempt I do not want to brick it again!!
3. USB loader - cannot get wbfs manager to format the 320gb usb HDD I want to use
Sorry am a newbie to all this and I am new to all this - I am running 4.1 (Eur)
1) Reinstall the homebrew channel, its a simple as that
2) You need to update the cios's, if you want to do it safely use google, search for ModMii, use the wizard in the program and call your wii a virgin one, answer the questions and it will generate a guide and all the cios's and programs. This will also tell you how to sort the homebrew channel.
3) Format it to fat32, cfg and GX loaders both can use fat32. Use wii backupmanage to load on the files (it scrubs them and puts them on to the drive)
