Its my first post so hello. My question is this... I know its possible to connect 2 optical drives on a 40pin ide cable as master and slave and you can have multipul rawdump 2.0 open at once but will both the drives be able to rip a game disc each at the same time or isnt there enough bandwidth in ide to allow this. Its been that long since ide I just cant remember owt about it. both GDR6183 drive dump at 1650MB/hour. Thank you

yeah you can do that, all you have to do is set both drives appropriately and run 2 raw dumps simultaneously. Ive done it before. Eats up a lot of power though since both are running. You also have to have two drives that can detect the games.

Thanks WiiGenius I didnt know if they could sustain that sort of transfer rate together down an old ide. When you say eats up alot of power do you mean cpu% power or actual wattage power?
