Go to the 4.1 and below firmware guide in my sig. Then follow the 4.2 Shop Channel v18: section.

You need to download the softmod pack and get the Shop Channel installer from it.

Then follow the Shop Channel section.

What happens if I use the soft mod for the Wii Shop Channel if I already have a modded console? When i am in the Wii Menu and click on Wii Shop it tells me to update my Wii. I am afraid if I update my wii that I will no longer be able to play any of my backups. What should I do? Is it safe to update? would I still be able to play my back ups?

Do what I said above and you will be able to accesses the Shop Channel plus stay on 3.2 firmware.

my system runs 4.1U softmodded and shop channel works fine. IT WILL NOT TELL YOU TO UPDATE IF YOU INSTALL THE LATEST CHANNEL.

and there's no use in staying at 3.2. you're better off at 4.1. use larry's 4.1 softmod guide to get there.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Do what I said above if you want to use the Shop Channel and stay on 3.2 firmware.

Go to the 4.1 and below firmware Softmod guide in my sig.

Download the softmod pack.

Extract ALL 4.1 SOFTMOD PACK to your PC.

Extract EXTRACT TO SD CARD to your PC (Do not extarct it to your SD card).

Go to apps folder then transfer the 4.2 Shop Channel folder to the apps folder on your SD card.

Now follow the 4.2 Shop Channel v18: section that is in the 4.1 and below firmware guide.

It is that simple. Your making a bigger deal out of it then what it really is.

This is completely false.

You can do everything you mentioned above on 4.0/4.1/4.2 firmware. Besides when was there ever a 3.9 firmware?

Video proof of 4.2 system menu theme HERE.

Priiloader can be used on System menu 4.2 (so there are your system hacks).

USB Loaders can be used on 4.2 firmware (Proof=I am on 4.2 firmware and use CFG USB loader).

second. 4.1U with configurable usb loader v51. NO problems whatsoever.

well tweek toys doesnt work as i installed it on a mates one and the app does work but when you try and load a skin it wont install

secondly you have to use the game cube pad to go into the wii channels first

3rdly you have to go into neo gammer to load the games instead of mine at min where you it just reads like an orignal

around what? we just said it works on 4.1/4.2.

as long as you have the latest cIOS38 and usb loader/neogamma, IT WILL WORK, regardless of system firmware version.

have no idea what your trying to say here.

I already told you you can use a USB loader. And yes NeoGamma works with 4.2 firmware.

There is also an updated version of cIOSCorps that will let you play like an original disc.

Sounds like you need to do a little more research and get caught up on the homebrew scene.

Updating to 4.2 firmware will unsoftmod the system.

So you will need to follow the 4.2 softmod guide to softmod it again.

I tried to get my hands on the pack you were talking about in your sig and nothing happens. I don't have an SD card to copy to. I mean I do, but how am I supposed to transfer files to it? How can I play old school mario bro's games on my wii? is there an easier way to fix the Wii Shop Channel, I need some help. Tips. Advice. Someone else to have a go at it, really. Thanks Mate, Cheers.
