i have the 3.3 software installed ,but could do with using the shopping channel.i'm told that i will have to upgrade but for obvious reasons i don't want to.any workaround?thanks in advance

is that the original firmware, with no mod on your wii? If so, you could update legitimately using wiiconnect. If yuor wii has been softmodded, but not been updated, then its quite simple to update to 4.1
