Please help, I am not sure who to ask, maybe you can help or link me or direct me to someone who can. I have an SNESGX channel on my wii. Whenever I click on it I actually have to go through all the folders to get to the ROMs it's supposed to play. the roms work but I just wanna be able to click on the channel then choose the rom I want to play without having to go through all the folders, funny thing is when I go to the SnesGx Emmulator through the Homebrew channel it works just fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

remove the channel you have and use this forwarder. my snes9xgx always loads from my rom directory from my external drive.

How do I remove the channel without losing the roms?

you don't. they are stored on your SD/external drive, right?

if you remove the channel, then the roms stay.

oh yeah. Yes, they are stored on the SD card. I misread what you said. so, I extract it and store the file in the wad folder, right? Then what? I think I did something wrong cause it's still doing the same thing. I loaded the wad manager through homebrew, and clicked on snesgx and then hit a, then went back to the wii system menu. Beforehand I tried to delete the channel but it doesn't show up when I go through the data management settings to delete a channel.Hmmmmm....what do I do now? thanks for the help, btw.

you delete the forwarder from wad manager. choose the wad, and select uninstall. then install the new forwarder.

Error opening sd://snes9x/roms

how do I change it so it will open when i click on the snes9xGx channel?

either remove the config.ini from your SD card to start fresh, or place your roms in the snes9x folder.

great! That worked perfectly. Now, one thing left. whenever I exit snes emulator it goes to a black screen then I have to force shutdown instead of it going to the main system menu

check the settings in snes9xgx. there is one that allows you to either exit to HBC or system menu.
