wii softmodding?

i all i am a complete noob when it comes to wii softmodding.

So just after a little advice.

I want to be able to play backup games on my we and have read many articles which all seem to conflict each other.

I was thinking of using this guide http://wehackwii.pbworks.com/w/page/8844446/USB-Loader

Would this work or would i need to install some sort of app?


Any help would be a god send.

For a complete noob guide, download a program called ModMii, use the wizard and answer the questions. It will download everything you need and generate a guide dedicated to your Wii.

If you are already on 4.3 then you will need a game to start the exploit Lego Batman, Lego indiana, Smash Bros Brawl etc
