hey peeps,

heres my boggle i have a wii with 4.0e softmod firmware on it, it also has a wiikey 1 installed which will soon have the 1.99 update, i can play wii sports resort fine no problems with it apart from that blooming intro movie that keeps playing after i play a vc game now ive been told if i update my wii to 4.2 the intro movie stops, but ive also been told if i install 4.2 my wiikey is made useless and my wii is very likely to be bricked, so is there a way i can safely update my wii or is there another way to stop that annoying movie from playing.

Who told you that? I have a Wiikey 1, 4.2, and my Wiikey continues to function.
