Hello everyone. I have a wii and I wanted to backup my games so I decided to try the usbloader since my wii is 4.2U.

I did the following explained by this page:
http://www.wiilovemario.com/The-most-up-...nown-to-mankind
Would you like to be able to install games to a USB hard drive and run them from there instead of the disc?

1. Install the Homebrew Channel
2. Install IOS249
3. Install Hermes' IOS222/223
4. Install a USB Loader

That's what I did. I can run the games, but, for some reason, whenever there is a video, it lags like hell, I mean video lags.
1 - Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?
2 - Should I use IOS 222, 223 or 249 when running a game?
3 - Now that it is working with video lags is there any way for it to brick my wii or something?
4 - Can I play on the internet with this?

Thanks a lot in advance

This is a complicated problem, usually USB Loader prevents this, but what game are you trying to load?

dude, chill. there's a 24 hour wait before you can bump your thread.

i have yet to encounter laggy videos, so it's the hardware you use. update IOS249 with cIOSX_rev19 with IOS57 as base. and make sure your hard drive is on the compatability list.

i personally would just use WBFS as a strict game partition, and FAT32 to store apps in. less hassles.

internet doesn't matter. nintendo will only boot you if you do something stupid online, like cheat.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .
