Hello people
i am completely new to wii(which i m going to get it hardmodded wikey2) i just wanted to know how do i know whether the wii iso requires patching or no, through which software or application (n how do i use wiu 1.1 settings, tick untick autobackup, can u post any link that will guide me coz me getting tired of googling it)and aat what speed should i burn the iso using sony or verbatim DVD-R media using img burn.
Any help is Appreciated

the only two programs you really need are wii scrubber to remove the partition or fix green screen error. And second brick blocker. These are programs to either remove un wanted partitions in the iso or block updates from another region. If you are running wii key 2 you should be fine in that the wiikey makes your wii region free.

but i wanted to know that do i have to get these two programs even if i hardmod it using wiikey2 or once if i hardmod it(wiikey2)i dont have to bother about any programs

I personally would not waste my time or money on hardmodding my Wii. Softmodding is so easy and makes it very easy to play backups. There are plenty of softmod guides around the net. It makes it easy to play backups, from a disc with DarkCorp or from a USB hard drive with USB Loader GX. No need to worry about patching anything, just burn the iso to a disc and play. Install Priiloader to block updates and you're good to go.
