Wii won't eject or even recognize that disk exists.

So I bought myself a new dvd drive for my wii since it was much cheaper than buying a new wii (the previous one broke via botched mod attempt). At first I could not put disk (Wii Sports) inside the wii at all... but after unplugging it and firmly putting disk inside the wii, I plugged it back in and the wii made a noise and I saw disk go in properly...but now the wii wont spin, read, or even recognize that the disk is even there. I don't even get a disk read error. It act like there is nothing there. And I can't even eject disk even after pressing button 50 times rapidly. Anyone have any help they can offer? Thanks in advance

Lets get this right.

You unplugged the Wii then forced a disc into the drive and now you don't know why your having problems?

I'm trying not to laugh hear.

All I can say is take the Wii apart and make sure you have all the connectors connected to the drive.

Even then it could be little to late from forcing a disc in it.
